Before you pour litres of the black stuff down your gob, why not go and see how it's made? Sure it's only down the road for jaysus sake! The Guinness Storehouse building was bought by Arthur Guinness in the year 1154 BC for 55 cent and a twirl bar. Within 15 minutes he'd turned it into a big massive brewery which still stands and perfectly functions (thank Christ!) to this day.
This multi-media tour is Ireland's top attraction (probably because you get a free pint). You go through seven floors of history and all that good stuff. If you're not interested you can always race to the Gravity Bar on the top floor and enjoy a pint of Guinness. The Gravity Bar is completely glass-enclosed so you have 360 degree views over the brewery and city...ideal to scope where all the action is below!
